Diploma in Automobile Engineering (DAE)

Diploma in Automobile engineering, also known as automotive engineering, is a branch of vehicle engineering that focuses on the application, design and manufacturing of various types of automobiles.  This field of engineering involves the direct application of mathematics in the design and production of vehicles.  Engineering disciplines practiced in the field includes safety engineering, vehicle electronics, quality management, and fuel economy and emissions.

    Entry eligibility: SLC/SEE/TSLC passed and overall GPA, grade or percentage as defined in CTEVT admission guidelines.

    Admission criteria: On the basis of merit list in the entrance examination administered by CTEVT (allotment of quotas will be as per the CTEVT rule)

Students who have successfully completed the course will be awarded the degree Diploma in Automobile Engineering. The graduates will be eligible for the position equivalent to non-gazetted 1st class/Level 5 (technical) as prescribed by the Public Service Commission of Nepal and other related agencies. The graduate will be eligible for registration with the related council in the grade as provisioned in the related Council Act (if any). They are also eligible to admit the Bachelor of Engineering or other related programmes.
