Diploma in Hotel Management (DHM)

Diploma in Hotel Management intends to produce mid-managerial level skilled and competent human resources equipped with the knowledge to fulfil the demand of global hospitality industry. It covers all the major departments of the hospitality industry along with a variety of academic disciplines with six months compulsory internship in star category hotels as well.

    Entry eligibility: SLC/SEE/TSLC passed and overall GPA, grade or percentage as defined in CTEVT admission guidelines.

    Admission criteria: On the basis of merit list in the entrance examination administered by CTEVT (allotment of quotas will be as per the CTEVT rule)

Students who successfully complete the course will be awarded the degree Diploma in Hotel Management. The graduates will be eligible for the position equivalent to non-gazetted 1st class (technical) on food production, food and beverage service, front office, housekeeping or as prescribed by the Public Service Commission of Nepal. Academically, they are also eligible to join bachelor level management programmes like BHM, BBA, BBS, and BBM.
